Can you represent me in immigration court?
No. As a Paralegal and Notary, I am not an attorney. I provide professional assistance in correctly filling out and filing USCIS forms based on the information you provide.
What documents do I need for a residency renewal?
Generally, your current Green Card, Social Security card, and a valid ID. We will provide a specific checklist during your consultation.
Do you offer certified translations?
Yes. We can translate and certify birth certificates, marriage licenses, and other vital records required for your immigration application.
Do you perform bilingual ceremonies?
Absolutely. We can conduct the ceremony in English, Spanish, or a mix of both to ensure all your guests feel included.
What do we need to get married in Florida?
You must obtain a Marriage License from any Florida Clerk of Court. Once you have it, we can perform the ceremony and sign the license to make it legal.
Can you travel to our venue?
Yes! Whether it’s a park, a banquet hall, or your own backyard in Ocala or Central Florida, we come to you.
Apostille Service: Required Documents & Process
To ensure your documents are valid for international use, please review the following requirements:
1. Document Personal Identification
Valid Government-Issued Photo ID: A current Passport, Driver’s License, or State ID is required for the person requesting the service.
2. Types of Documents Eligible for Apostille
Vital Records: Original certified copies of Birth, Marriage, or Death Certificates (must be recently issued by the Florida Department of Health/Vital Statistics). Educational Documents: Original Diplomas, Transcripts, or Verifications. Note: These must be notarized by a Florida Notary before the Apostille process begins. Legal Documents: Power of Attorney, Wills, or Court Documents (must be certified copies from the Clerk of Court). Corporate Documents: Articles of Incorporation or Certificates of Good Standing.
3. Key Requirements for Success
Originals Only: We cannot apostille photocopies unless they have been "Certified as a True Copy" by a Notary (subject to document type restrictions). Destination Country: You must provide the name of the country where the document will be used (to ensure it is part of the Hague Convention). Translation: If the document is in Spanish, some authorities may require a Certified Translation to accompany the Apostille. We can assist you with this!
4. Our Streamlined Process
Review: We inspect your document to ensure it meets Florida Secretary of State standards. Notarization: We perform the necessary notarization (if applicable). Submission: We handle the filing with the Department of State in Tallahassee. Delivery: We receive the Apostille and deliver it to you, or ship it directly to its final international destination
Mobile & Healthcare Notary FAQ
Can you notarize documents at a hospital or nursing home?
Yes. We are experienced in bedside notarizations. The signer must be alert, aware of what they are signing, and have a valid photo ID.
What if the signer cannot sign their name?
Florida law allows for "Signature by Mark" or a "Designated Signer" in specific cases. Please contact us in advance to discuss the legal requirements for these situations.
